APPLICATION
KAYCOLOR cream hair color is used with KAYCOLOR oxidizing emulsion. Mix one part cream color and 1.5 parts oxidizing emulsion in a non-metal container.
How to use the oxidizing emulsion with cream color: 40 vol (12%) - lightens up to 3-4 tones 30 vol (9%) - lightens up to 2-3 tones 20 vol (6%) - tone-on-tone coloring, gray hair coloring, lightening by 1 tone 10 vol (3%) - darkens by one tone 5 vol (1.5%) - tones newly bleached and lightened hair
Development time: 10-20 minutes. Not recommended for gray hair. If you need to lighten hair more than 4 tones, use super-lightening dyes.
INITIAL APPLICATION TO NATURAL HAIR: Apply the color mixture to the lengths and ends. Leave on for 10 minutes. Prepare a new color mixture and apply to the roots. Leave on for 30 minutes.
ROOT APPLICATION: Apply a portion of the color mixture to the regrown roots. Leave on for 30 minutes. Apply the remaining mixture to the lengths and ends. Leave on for 10 minutes.
FINAL STEP: After processing, emulsify with warm water, then rinse the color mixture with shampoo.
MIXING PROPORTIONS: Up to 50% gray hair: mix 3/4 part of the desired color with 1/4 part of the same natural color. Over 50% gray hair: mix 1/2 part of the desired color with 1/2 part of the same natural color. 100% gray hair: mix 1/4 part of the desired color with 3/4 part of the same natural color.
